In a move aimed at enhancing community stability and improving the living conditions of affected families in northern Syria, the SEED Foundation, in cooperation with the Iktifa Foundation, announced the completion of several economic empowerment projects, which came as part of a strategic partnership between the two institutions.
The projects focused on providing sustainable job opportunities and enhancing the skills of individuals in various fields, helping them achieve self-reliance and improve their income levels. The initiatives included training youth and women in various professional skills, in addition to providing support to small and medium-sized businesses by providing the necessary resources and equipment.
The SEED Foundation explained that these projects come in response to the urgent need to enhance the ability of local residents to face the economic challenges left by years of conflict. A representative of the foundation stated:
“We believe in the importance of economic empowerment as a means of improving the lives of individuals and communities. Through these projects, we aim to build sustainable capacities that enhance the resilience of the population and open doors for them to the future.”
In turn, the Iktifa Foundation expressed its appreciation for the partnership with the SEED Foundation, stressing that these initiatives represent a successful model of humanitarian and development cooperation. The representative of the Foundation commented:
“We seek to empower local communities by providing practical support and resources that enhance their ability to face daily challenges. Economic empowerment projects represent an important step towards stabilizing the communities of northern Syria.”
These projects have improved the conditions of hundreds of families in the region, and the beneficiaries expressed their gratitude for this initiative that helped them improve their standard of living and rebuild their lives with dignity.
The two foundations hope that the success of these projects will be an incentive for more future partnerships that contribute to enhancing economic and social development in crisis-affected areas.
